Clare Beagley

Clare facilitates the client’s vision both creatively and financially and manages the design and production teams. Her guidance ensures client’s websites are delivered on time, on budget and on brief. Storytelling lies at the heart of Clare’s creative briefs.

Clare joined BBC Documentaries the day she graduated, her unit pioneered using digital cameras for prime-time films to get unprecedented access and tell different kinds of stories. She has travelled the world working for BBC, Channel 4, Discovery US and tech innovators. In 2013, Clare spent a year as consultant Producer at the inception of Movement For Modern Life, the UK online yoga site called ‘the Netflix of Yoga’ by Vogue.

Diversity, Education & Non-Profit 

Clare’s commitment to mentoring and attitudes to diversity in the media propelled her to manage the prestigious Channel 4 Diversity Production Traineeship between 2007-10 and co-found the training consultancy Think Bigger! with Edi Smockum. She has guest lectured at the National Film & Television School, Channel 4, Documentary Filmmakers’ Group and City University MA in Journalism.

In 2010 Clare took a 2-year sabbatical to work with a community in Barcelona hit by financial crisis. She partnered with non-profit, Arte Creciente to transform two unrented office buildings into lo-cost centres for yoga, dance, martial arts and therapies. Skylark is working to establish a non-profit digital partnership initiative in London.
